A Pennsylvania native, Matthew resides in the state with his wife Molly and three children. A lifelong Hemp/Cannabis advocate, he was introduced to the benefits of Cannabidiol (CBD) and other Cannabanoids while recovering from a second knee surgery in 2013. Neifert began consulting for various companies in the emerging cannabis industry and lobbying for decriminalization and access to medical use for patients.

After working for nationally recognized brands, he founded his own hemp company nearly three years ago and what began as a small online presence grew into a brick and mortar retail location last year and a PA Hemp growing permit in 2019. This year, Neifert and his team grew 80,000 plants on 45 acres in five different locations across Pennsylvania. A “Grown in PA” hemp brand will be added to his existing line of Agape Blends products once this years harvest is processed.
